We still love camping, and Michigan is a camper's heaven. We have just camped, but also made a number of canoeing trips on the Rifle, Au Sable and Huron river.
With thousands of kilometers of lake shore and river shore, we can always find a good place to camp, canoe, barbeque and have fun.
Kathy was so nice to have us stay on her beautiful piece of land on lake Huron. Great camp site !
Not exactly camping, rather staying in a 5-star resort. My employer was so nice as to sponsor a trip to Kauai. Nice dinners, nice food, kayaking, sailing, snorkeling and a great 50 KM bicycle trip before breakfast (99% descending) from the highest volcano.
Pools are good in the hot summers here. We joined a sport club close to home with both indoor and outdoor pool. Many hours are spent there, Hans joins us after work.
