June is the swim team month. All community pools have their own team. Trainings are every day and races against the other teams every week.
We trained hard to make sure that Stan could swim 25 yards unassisted, so that he could join the team. The last weeks in May, Stan and Hans woke up early every day to swim. Stan did great and was very proud that he finally could wear the same cool swimming pants as Daan has.
Guus can not yet swim more than a few feet but he loves to dive from the high diving board. Hans is standing by to pick him up from the pool.
Hans' employer treated us on a well deserved trip to Puerto Vallarta, Mexico. After that we took the bus to Guadalahara and found a nice Bed and Breakfast in Tlacquepaque where we stayed another 5 days. Nice walks, the zoo, musea and the nice down town of both Guadalahara and Tlacquepaque kept us busy.

Daan went to Michigan to see his friends Ryan and Kevin. He was also taken on vacation to Mackinaw and Canada !
When it is too hot to go outside, the best thing is to take it easy inside on the sofa with a good book.
